The wonky quilt
Thank you Karen for the use of the pattern.I got my wonky quilt top done and am posting a picture of it. I did the 12" blocks which made it go super fast. It took just as long to cut out the fabric as it did to sew it. If I did not get interrupted by family members I would have been able to make it in less than a day. At the quilt show I bought a group of autumn fat quarters and think I will make another one of these quilts with them. This time I will make the blocks as 9" so that I can get two blocks out of a fat quarter. It was fun and easy

Diana,
I love how your hand-dyes seem to be floating. Your other quilts came today and are beautiful. My favorite was the light one. I also loved the fabric you made for the backing on the dark one. Judy tried to take credit for making them over the weekend but we saw right through it. Ah, we know her too well.
I have a longarm which makes quilting much easier than when I tried to use my Pfaff. We actually have 5 people at work making Vickie's quilt. Karen, and Sharla have their tops completed. Teri is almost done and Judy won't comment on where she is at the moment.

Diana, I LOVE your wonky quilt! Clever to make it in the larger block size. I'll add that to my list of ideas on how to use my new self-made hand dyes! It's becoming a long list of ideas, but I can't start anything new because I told Judy I'd have my Christimas quilt finished by Christmas (black embroidery Over the Hill and Through the Woods).
